Big Movies Giving Nightmares For Small Filmmakers!

Post lockdown, all the filmmakers have decided to lock the release dates in order to avoid any kind of competition. So, most of the big films and medium films have announced their release dates thereby booking most of the major days in 2021. Some of the big films even locked dates in 2022. The huge marathon of announcing dates was made fun of by director Maruti through his upcoming film.

Many small filmmakers have planned to release their films accordingly but the big directors and producers are now giving nightmares to them once again. Many big films are indicating that they may not arrive at the announced time. The shooting is reportedly not going at the required pace those pan-Indian films are expected to change their release dates.

Insiders suggest that ‘RRR’ team will be announcing their new release date through a press meet on Ugadi. In the same way, ‘Pushpa’ team has not announced the release date in their recently released teaser. Sources also say that ‘Acharya’ may also get postponed. This sudden change in release dates is creating a lot of trouble for small films and their makers as they are finding it tough to lock a release date. Rumour is that over 100 small films are stuck in film labs as they couldn’t find proper release dates.
