No words can describe the craze cricket has in India. People forget everything when the matches are aired. Cricket matches record the highest viewership. As an example of this, Disney+ Hotstar recorded three most viewed matches with crores of views in every match. When India and South Africa locked horns in the World Cup 4.4 crore concurrent views were recorded.
If a movie is based on cricket then it sets the box office on fire. We have seen this with films like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Nani’s Jersey. The films enjoyed a good run at the box office.
Now we might see another film as it is said that a biopic would be made on Yuvraj Singh. To make the film even more interesting, a Bollywood superstar might bankroll the film and he has the rights of the project.
As per the media reports Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan might bankroll the film which traces the life story of Yuvraj Singh who is regarded as one of the best all-rounders ever for the Indian team.
Yuvraj Singh is the unsung hero behind India’s victory in the 2011 edition of the World Cup. Despite having health issues he never gave up and fought hard. He is a True fighter and inspiration.
To give an example of his health condition, he suffered severe chest pain and vomited blood. However, this did not stop him from scoring a brilliant century and picking two wickets. When other batsmen struggled against the West Indies, Yuvraj scored a century.
He is a fighter in real life as well. Yuvraj developed cancer and came back strongly. All these aspects of his life make for a wonderful biopic. If everything goes well we might hear big news about this project regarding the cast and crew.
