Bomb In Flight Cabin?, Landed in Delhi

A Turkish Airlines flight has made an emergency landing at the New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport following a bomb scare on the flight. The flight was on its voyage carrying 134 passengers from Bangkok to Istanbul when someone onboard alerted the staff of a what seemed like a bomb in the midair. All the passengers are reportedly safe.

The news caused panic among three passengers and the pilot alerted the neatest Air Traffic Control officials at the IGI Airport and got the permission to make an emergency landing. The airport authorities have issued a high-alert at the IGI Airport, following the flight’s landing.

All the security teams including the the National Security Guards, bomb disposal squads, dog squads and the firefighting squads have cordoned off the airport premises and thoroughly inspected the flight and the runway. The SSG officials and the airport’s security officials will shortly meet up for an emergency meeting.
