Hearing a petition filed by Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan seeking changes in the bail condition, the Bombay High Court had ruled out in favor of the 23-year-old. The court orders gave a major sigh of relief to Aryan Khan in connection with the alleged Mumbai drugs case.
The Bombay High Court granted an exemption for Aryan Khan from appearing before the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) Mumbai office every Friday. Making changes to the existing bail condition, the High Court said, Khan, need not reach the office every week.
However, the High Court directed Shah Rukh Khan’s son to be available to reach the Delhi office of NCB whenever the intelligence agency asks him to be present before them for questioning.
During the arguments, Aryan Khan told the court through the lawyer that whenever he visits the NCB office to mark his attendance, the media rushes there to cover the visuals. He also mentioned that the case had already been handed over to the Delhi Special Investigation Team and sought an exemption from marking his attendance
He was arrested by the NCB earlier in October this year in connection with an alleged drugs case. Saying that he purchased the banned substances from the drug peddlers, he was arrested and sent to jail. After much fighting, he was granted bail.
