Senior actor Brahmanandam has been an undisputed King of Comedy in Tollywood. The veteran actor literally carried several star heroes’ films on his shoulders. However, those glorious days are gone for the legendary comedian.
Over the past one year, none of Brahmanandam’s comic acts in numerous big budget films clicked on the silver screen. All of Brahmi’s funny antics in films like Aagadu, Jyothi Lakshmi, Bruce Lee and Akhil bored his fans and audiences have already reached a saturation point, ringing the danger bells for Brahmi.
Yesterday, Brahmi ‘s latest film Soggade Chinni Nayana released to highly positive reviews and superb collections. However, Brahmi once again failed to tickle the funny bones of his fans in the film and critics are opining that Brahmi’s scenes are the only portions which the makers should cut off to entertain the audiences even better.
With several young and senior comedians finally getting their long awaited due in Tollywood with Brahmi’s poor form, it will be interesting to see if Brahmi will change his strategy to bounce back.
