What happens if you love a girl and the girl in question does not reciprocate? You court her, send love signals galore, but the girl refuses to melt. This in short, is TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s problem. His TDP is courting the Jana Sena, but the Jana Sena is not reciprocating. This was admitted by none other than Chandrababu himself.
The other day, Chandrababu Naidu addressed a party workers’ meeting in his home turf of Kuppam. In fact, this was his first visit to Kuppam after the stunning defeat in the municipal elections. During the meet, a young party cadre stood up and asked why was the TDP not aligning with the Jana Sena and said that the party would win if it joined hands with the Jana Sena.
Coming as they are from the TDP supremo, these words assume great political significance. These comments indicate that the TDP has been making efforts to woo the Jana Sena, but there is no response from the Jana Sena. It also indicates that the TDP is game for an alliance with Jana Sena.
Chandrababu apparently opened as the political heat is rising in the state and the election mood is gradually setting in. Also, the parties are preparing strategies for the 2024 elections. Hence, Chandrababu appears to be eager to seal he deal with Jana Sena to ensure that the Kapus are with him. But, Will Jana Sena reciprocate this one-sided love? Let’s wait and see.
