The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has set up 56 Backward Castes(BC) Corporations in the state, the first of its kind in the country.
The BC corporations called for the Backward Castes Sankranti celebrations at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada on Thursday. CM Jagan was invited as the chief guest for the celebrations.
Speaking at the celebrations, CM Jagan breathed fire on former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and accused him of doing insider trading for his own benefits.
“The Binamis purchased lands from the farmers at a cheaper price. They have a prior plan of having capital there. With the fear of a drop in land prices they are doing agitation,” media reports quoted Jagan.
