It’s been rumoured that the story of Akhil’s second film being directed by Vikram Kumar (of Manam and 24 fame) has close similarities with another Telugu film that’s released. Learning about it, the team of Akhil 2 have quickly stepped in and made sufficient changes. Director Vikram Kumar apparently shocked with this unexpected situation, said to be taking some time to do proper changes in the story, script.
This said to be further delaying the film’s progress. Buzz is that the film’s shoot has been suspended. And Vikram is apparently working on the necessary changes to be made.
Meanwhile, the hunt for female lead opposite Akhil in the untitled film is going on. Vikram, Nag and Akhil are apparently breaking heads on casting. Inside buzz is that the role has very limited screen presence which is bothering several actresses to take up the offer.
Since Akhil’s debut tanked without a trace, Nag is taking special care on his 2nd film which is a romantic caper. Fans need to wait for more time for the final outcome as the film is now in its initial stage of production.
