The pre-release event of Acharya was much awaited by all Mega fans, who have been waiting for a long time to see Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan on the same stage for nearly 3 years now.
The film marks the first time that the father and son will be seen acting together, as they have been seen in only small cameos together previously.
First of all, Chiranjeevi thanked and felicitated director SS Rajamouli for his contributions to Indian cinema, and for breaking language barriers in the country.
He said that he’s proud to say that Rajamouli belongs to the Telugu people, and said that he couldn’t thank him enough for not only making Telugu cinema proud, but for making the entire South Indian film industry proud, and for telling the world that Indian cinema is not just limited to Bollywood.
Chiranjeevi thanked director Koratala Siva for the film, and said that it was an absolute pleasure to have worked with him, and noted that Koratala Siva is a very subtle director, who brings about his mass elements very differently than usual.
Lastly, Chiranjeevi ended the speech by saying that Ram Charan is surely going to steal the show with his performance in the film, and said that it was absolutely crucial that they two shared the screenspace due to the kind of bond that their characters share in the film, which the audiences will get to know on the 29th.
