When we speak about box-office numbers-US or India- typically it’s the trademark ‘Baahubali’ everyone compares with. But, when it comes to Tuni in Andhra Pradesh, it was Chiranjeevi’s Indra that holds No.1 for last one-and-half decade.
In the year 2002, the vintage blockbuster ‘Indra’ created a sensation by collecting 18 lakhs share in Tuni (East Godavari district). And 15 years down the line, no other film smashed that Mega record, not even Baahubali. Unbelievable…right? But, it’s totally true!
Finally, it is Megastar Chiranjeevi himself who chased down his best with Khaidi No:150.
On 11th day from release, Khaidi managed to mint 18.74 lakhs in Tuni and it’s the latest sensation in town! And there’s more- the film is pacing towards 20 lakhs share with house-full boards on week days too.
