Soon after the official confirmation about the most-awaited magnum opus RRR release postponement hit the headlines, many speculations about Mega brothers’ films have started doing on the internet. It is heard that the Mega brothers Megastar Chiranjeevi and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan might battle it out at the box office with their respective films Acharya and Vakeel Saab.
However, as per our sources, we’ve heard that the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab are making plans to release the film during Pongal 2021. It is being learned that there is another 35-days of Vakeel Saab’s schedule is pending, in which PK will shoot for 15 days. Initially, Vakeel Saab makers planned to release the film on May 15th but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film’s shooting has been halted. As a result, the film’s release date was postponed.
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya may not be released during Pongal. The film’s shoot may resume after lockdown restrictions are uplifted. The makers have completed only 40 percent of the shoot until now. So, the film may not make it for the Pongal season.
We’ve recently heard that Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story will join the 2021 Pongal race. Our source revealed that the makers will resume the shoot from October and are planning to finish the shoot by November end. If everything goes well, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Love Story may release during the Sankranthi season.
So, it looks like the battlefield is getting ready for PSPK and Chay to fight it out at the box office in January 2021. We must say, interesting times ahead!
