CM Jagan hails leading Industries for sending Medical Oxygen to Andhra Pradesh

The shortage of medical oxygen is a big challenge faced by several states in the country, in the fight against the highly contagious Covid virus. Seeing the devastating situation, leading corporate companies are coming forward to help in dealing with the crisis.

Moved by the plights of Andhra Pradesh, leading Industries in the country, Tata Group, Reliance Industries, and Jindal Steel and Power Limited have extended their support by supplying medical oxygen.

In three different tweets, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy thanked Mukesh Ambani, Tata Steel, and the Chairman of JSW Group, Sajjan Jindal for supplying Liquid Medical Oxygen, a timely help to the state.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude towards Reliance Industries for sending Oxygen Express Trains for Andhra Pradesh to fight against the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

On the other hand, the Jamshedpur-based steel industry, Tata Steel has sent more than 1,000 Metric Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen, while Jindal Steel has supplied oxygen to the Rayalaseema area in the state.

“My heartfelt thanks to @TataSteelLtd for their commitment to support AP in these tough times. TATA Steel has supplied more than 1000 MT of LMO to AP, which is crucial in our fight against #COVID19,” the Chief Minister’s tweet reads.

“I express my gratitude to @sajjanjindal ji for supplying LMO to the Rayalaseema region from JSW Bellary. Thank you for standing with the people of Andhra Pradesh in these tough times”.
