Kojiro Uchiyama, the consul-general of Japan in Chennai, has met AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday. Jagan has widely discussed with Uchiyama on setting up industries in Andhra Pradesh and creating employment opportunities to the local youth. At the same time, bi-lateral issues are also said to have been discussed in the high-profile meeting.
Impressed with CM Jagan’s thoughts and plans, Kokiro Uchiyama, has invited Jagan Mohan Reddy to Japan and offered him to meet the top executives of several Japanese companies who are interested in setting up their units in India. The official twitter handle of Andhra Pradesh CM has corroborated the news. Jagan’s Japan visit may be planned once he returns from his Bethlehem visit and US visit.
Meanwhile, Azim Premji’s representatives had recently met AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and offered to invest around Rs 100 Crore on investment-free agriculture in AP in the coming five years.
