Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has issued key directives to YSR Congress party MPs as the budget sessions of Parliament are approaching.
They have also discussed the new agricultural laws brought by the Union govt. Jagan clarified that farmers should get a minimum support price.
He also directed the state government to prepare a comprehensive report on the incidents at temples across the state. The issue of the CBI probe into Antarvedi chariot burning should also be raised in Parliament.
It was suggested that several key issues, including Polavaram, be raised. He directed the MPs to take the issue of the Polavaram project seriously and work hard for the approval of the revised cost estimates. It was suggested that the struggle for special status should continue and that this should be heard in Parliament.
The Chief Minister also directed to prepare full details on the bills to be brought by the Central Government during the budget meetings. Kurnool MP Dr. Sanjay was advised to prepare a comprehensive report on the abortion bill.
