Telangana CM KCR now joins the elite list of the country’s President and the Prime Minister. The security convoy of CM KCR has been changed for the third time in just one year. With an estimated cost of Rs. 5.5 crores at Rs. 1.10 crore each KCR’s convoy is the third costliest convoy after the President and PM Modi’s convoys.
Five Toyota Land Cruiser Prado cars have been assigned with high-end security and safety features for CM’s convoy. Special prayers have been offered for the cars at the Yadadri Temple on Wednesday, and the CM reached his office in the new convoy. Earlier, KCR’s convoy constituted of five Fortuners and two Land Cruisers which has cost close to Rs. 4 crores.
With the addition of these five vehicles, supported by the security team’s car and an ambulance, KCR’s convoy can now sustain any kind of attack. The Bharat Dynamics Ltd took care of the bullet proof protection for these Land Cruisers. Recently, KCR was in news for the high-end Rakshak car and a Mercedes Benz bus which had cost the government nearby Rs. 5 crore, for his village tours.
