Ending his silence on budget and injustice meted out to AP, Pawan Kalyan has called for a Joint Action Committee (JAC) comprising the intellectuals such as Jayaprakash Narayan, Undavalli Arun Kumar, himself and other like-minded people, groups.
Pawan stated that Janasena alone or he alone can’t take up the issue and he needs the larger support and hence has urged all the like-minded people to join forces to take up the issue seriously. Seeking inspiration from Telangana movement, Pawan Kalyan stated that the JAC of Andhra Pradesh should be on the similar lines such that it different parties, different groups with diverse ideologies and still worked together for a one cause.
Pawan lashed out at both TDP and BJP for “confusing” statements and “messing” the issue. “At once, TDP demanded for the Special Category Status. After Centre announced Special Package, TDP stated that the package is better than the status. And after sometime, they allege that the Centre is not releasing funds. On other hand, Centre claims it has allotted funds and allege that the state government is not showing accounts for the expenditure. All these push people into confusion,” said an emotional Pawan who said that he was “pained” by the situation.
Pawan stated that he had enthused trust on Chandrababu Naidu who has a vast experience. Pawan also expressed his dissent over the allegations of “Corruption” on TDP’s government.
I Regret Not Contesting in 2014
Pawan further stated that he regrets for not contesting in 2014 general elections. “Had I or my members contested in some constituencies in 2014, probably, I would have some strength today to speak up in Assembly, Parliament or protest,” said Pawan who seems to be very clear in contesting in 2019 elections.
