Congress leader and spokesperson of Uttar Pradesh Rajiv Tyagi passed away on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest. He was 52.
As per the reports, Tyagi suffered the chest pain soon after participating in a TV debate from his residence in Ghaziabad and fell unconscious after the program ended.
A few minutes before felling unconscious, Tyagi asked his domestic help to prepare tea for him and himself lay down on his bed. But when the help brought the tea, he did not respond.
He was immediately taken to Yashoda Hospital n Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, but doctors couldn’t save him. Tyagi probably died on the way to the hospital.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi and other leaders expressed their condolences while remembering his contribution to people and the party.
