The Bharatiya Janata Party has many firebrand leaders who stay in the news with the controversial comments they make more than the good work they do. Compared to the southern states we see such leaders in the saffron party from the northern belt making controversial comments.
If we make a list of such leaders, Lok Sabha member Pragya Singh Thakur would be in the top five. Living up to her image the senior leader once again made some objectionable comments and her comments attracted a police complaint as well.
Hindu Jagarana Vedike, which is associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) held a gathering recently and Pragya Singh Thakur attended the event. Addressing the gathering the Lok Sabha member urged Hindus to keep weapons in their homes. Her comments got some cheers from the attendees.
Talking about the controversial Love Jihad, the Lok Sabha member said that Love Jihad is a practice that is being followed, and even if they love they do jihad as well. She also urged them to protect the girls and teach them some right values.
Adding further, the Lok Sabha member said that Hindus should keep weapons at their homes and make sure that the weapons are sharp as no one can say what the situation would be and everyone has the right to protect themselves from any threat.
“Keep weapons in your homes, if nothing else, at least knives used to cut vegetables, sharp…Don’t know what situation will arise when….Everyone has the right to self protection. If someone infiltrates our house and attacks us, giving a befitting replay is our right ,” the Lok Sabha member said at the event.
The opposition leaders started targeting the MP alleging that she is instigating violence by making such explosive comments. The grand old Congress party raised a demand that she should be arrested for the comments he made.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is always accused of making such comments ahead of the polls to increase political mileage. Adding fuel to this the controversial Lok Sabha member made explosive comments that Hindus should keep weapons at their homes.
