The Corona virus is ringing danger bills in Kurnool district. So far the district has reported 126 cases and out of them 60 cases are from the Kurnool city. The local MLA is no exception to the virus even though he was not infected, he was sent to home quarantine.
Going into details Kurnool MLA Abdul Hafeez Khan visited a quarantine facility in Guntur a few days back. After returning MLA Khan showed symptoms of Corona and so he underwent tests. The results showed negative but the doctors have advised Khan to be in home quarantine for at least two weeks.
Speaking on it, MLA Khan said, “I’m not feeling insulted or bad that I’m in quarantine. This is a precautionary measure and we all must follow the guidelines of Centre and state government for our safety.”
13 new cases are confirmed from Kurnool on Friday and the AP government has declared high alert in the district.
