A guy coming from London was asked to stay home in quarantine for two weeks but then he comes to Hyderabad, courtesy of his mom who happens to be a senior bureaucrat and then wanders in a shopping mall here.
As he fails to listen to doctors, now the people who got in touch with him are advised to go for Corona checkup and that’s it. This puts us to the question, ‘Why don’t these folks listen?’.
Saying that they need special facilities at isolation centres, few people are running away from such centres. But then, aren’t they putting the lives of others at risk as they have got all the chances to spread the virus?
At a time when the whole world is on health emergency, why would anyone expect better facilities, infrastructure and luxuries as if that is a family wedding? With quarantine stamp, few people are seen travelling on trains, and not even listening to fellow passengers. When would the sense of responsibility arise in these folks?
One has to ask oneself, who is fighting against Coronavirus now? Whose fight is this? Not the patients who have got infected by COVID-19 already, but also the rest of citizens we must say.
Only if everyone stays isolated, stays hygienic and follows the six-point prevention formula advised by WHO, they could survive the pandemic. Else they will be risking their own lives and of others. This is your fight citizens, our fight, stand up for it.
Rather complaining, be responsible and lets try together to contain the spread of the virus.
