Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Dil Rau have recently joined hands for a new Anil Ravipudi directorial titled ‘Raja The Great’. In fact, this duo was supposed to collaborate for a film more than a year ago but the project was dropped and rumors emerged that they had a fallout over Ravi Teja’s remuneration.
After the success of ‘Power’, Ravi Teja reportedly hiked his remuneration and charged Rs 6 Cr for ‘Bengal Tiger’. He allegedly quoted Res 7 Cr for Dil Raju-Venu Sriram film. Known for his uncompromising attitude when it comes to production costs, Raju reportedly refused to comply and the film was shelved.
Now, as Ravi Teja and Dil Raju have once again collaborated, there is curiosity over how much the ace producer must have paid to the mass Raja? Reports in Film Nagar circles suggest that Ravi Teja was paid Rs 5 Cr. This amount looks way lesser compared to Ravi Teja’s demands but there is a twist here.
Reportedly, beside the Rs 5 Cr remuneration, Dil Raju promised 5 percent profit to Ravi Teja. That’s how this duo has agreed upon the payment formalities and joined hands for ‘Raja The Great’.
Said to be the story of a blind protagonist, the Anil Ravipudi directorial has KVPG fame Mehreen as the female lead.
