Saidapet Metropolitan Court in Chennai has issued summons to Kollywood star hero Vijay Sethupathi and his manager Johnson based on a complaint filed by Maha Gandhi.
As per reports, Vijay was summoned following a complaint lodged by a Maha Gandhi alleging that the actor’s group had attacked him at the airport.
On November 2, when Sethupathi was returning to Chennai from Delhi after receiving the National award, a brawl broke out between his team and Maha Gandhi. In fact, a video of Mr Gandhi trying to attack the actor inside the airport went viral. The issue had created a sensation then.
Maha Gandhi had complained in the Chennai court that Vijay’s manager had attacked him outside the airport after the altercation. In this regard, the court sent notices to Vijay and his manager and directed them to appear for the hearing on January 2.
