In view of the improved Covid situation, the AP Government is all set to further relax the night curfew restrictions. As of now, there is a night curfew across the state from 10 pm to 6 am. These restrictions are being implemented with great seriousness. However, the curfew period is likely to end on August 14.
Sources say that the government is likely to further relax the curfew norms due to improved situation. The curfew might still continue in those districts where the positivity rate is high and relax in districts with low positivity rate. There has been considerable improvement in the situation in several districts. The number of cases has come down significantly. The situation is still serious only in one or two districts.
In most of the districts, only 50 to 100 cases are being registered on a daily basis. In only one or two districts, more than 300 cases are being registered on an average. So, the government might impose curfew only in such districts and announce relaxation in the rest of the state. A decision is likely to be expected in one or two days.
