Senior advocate and character artiste CVL Narasimha Rao, who withdrew from the ‘MAA’ presidential contest, made sensational remarks on Wednesday. He called for defeating Prakash Raj, who is contesting for the presidency in the Movie Artists’ Association elections.
CVL appealed to MAA members not to support Prakash Raj, who does not admire the country and the tradition. He said it would not be good for the film industry if the Telangana children in the two panels were not won over.
He spoke to the media on the occasion. “My request to all MAA members. Support all the children of Telangana in this election. Babu Mohan should be elected as the Executive Vice President and Uttej as the Joint Secretary. It is not good for the film industry and society if they are not won over here in ‘MAA’ in Telangana. Be sure to defeat Prakash Raj. He speaks with many controversial points. It would have been better if he had not contested in this election,” CVL said.
