Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a firebrand leader known for making tough decisions. The decisions he makes create controversies sometimes. But the Chief Minister won’t think much about the controversies and goes forward with his decisions.
Following the same the Uttar Pradesh government gave a sensational order to the government employees to announce their assets both movable and immovable. This can be seen as an ultimatum for the employees as they get the salaries if the assets are not announced.
As per the media reports the deadline for the employees to declare their assets is July 31. Those who fail to announce the details might not get the salaries.
It is said that the deadline for the same was extended a few times by the government but there is no response from the employees as it was anticipated.
Reports say that only 26 percent of employees declared their assets and the rest of them are yet to announce. A few issues are said to be stopping them from declaring their assets.
Many say that the employees who did not announce their assets are in the danger of losing salaries. Given his image as a strong leader it would not be a wonder if the salaries are stopped to the employees.
Reports say that the employees were asked to upload the details of their assets with the Human Resources Department website. We have to wait and see how the rest of the employees would react to this.
On the other hand the government announced that as many as 2 lakh government jobs would be provided in the coming two years in the state.
We have to say that it is a daring decision to make such an announcement as the state will go for the by elections soon. Let us see what impact the decision would have.
