Delhi shopkeepers following voluntary lock down!

Indian Government is making moves on revamping the economy in step wise process. Initially shops in the neighborhood which sells essentials items were given permissions to operate. Malls, shopping complexes, theatres and other places where more people gather will still be under strict lock down and the Government will take a decision after April 30th.

In spite of Government giving permissions to shopkeepers to operate their businesses in the neighborhood, people in Delhi decided to go for voluntary lock down. Due to the lack of transportation and the staff, the shops in Delhi which sell essential goods remained locked down, in spite of the permissions from the Government.

Government has asked the shops to follow the rules like wearing protective gear, maintaining social distancing and taking all measures to stop the spread of the virus. The temperatures in India are raising and this is considered to be a good sign as few researchers were believing that the sun rays of high temperature and humidity weakens Corona Virus.
