#DelhiVoilence: Four more dead; over 100 injured


The violence in the national capital, New Delhi reported for third day in a row and about four people have died and nearly 150 people were injured in the clashes. People armed with sticks and rods were spotted on streets of Bhajanpura, Chand Bagh, Vijay Park, Yamuna Vihar and Karawal Nagar in northeast Delhi. A tyre market in Gokulpuri was set on fire.

The miscreants did not spare journalists too. A journalist from JK 24X7 News sustained a bullet injury while two reporters from NDTV were beaten mercilessly by rioters. One more media reporter and camera person were attacked in Maujpur. As the situation went out of control, Rapid Action Force stepped into action.

The Delhi Police has deployed 1000 personnel at violence hit places while the Union Home Ministry is monitoring the developments.

Meanwhile the last rites of Delhi Police head constable Rattan Lal was held with police honours. Rattan had lost his life in the clashes.
