The meeting between poll strategist Prashant Kishor and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar at the latter’s residence in the financial capital Mumbai earlier this week has led to a lot of speculation.
Media reports are abuzz that Prashant Kishor met Sharad Pawar to gather support with an aim to bring all the opposition under one roof to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the 2024 elections.
It has been widely reported that the poll strategist met the veteran politician as part of the efforts to make him the next President. PK reportedly took the responsibility of gathering support from the other parties. The roadmap for this will be prepared once Mr. Pawar gives his nod to the demand.
Everyone wonders, how Sharad Pawar can be made given the fact that The BKP lead by Narendra Modi has bagged the two-third majority in the elections. It’s next to impossible to win the presidential elections, even after all the opposition parties vote for Sharad Pawar.
Moreover, Shard Pawar, who has been in politics for decades will not run for the presidential elections, knowing the fact that the chances of winning the elections are very minimal.
