A team of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has landed in Hyderabad on Saturday to examine the encounter that killed four accused of Disha rape and murder.
The team of NHRC first went to Mahbubnagar government hospital where the dead bodies were preserved. The team asked the details from the police where the accused were shot and had a deep look at the post-mortem report. Then the NHRC team reached the encounter spot at Chatanpalli and examined the location. They enquired about the incident from the cops who brought the accused to the spot for scene recreation.
The NHRC team was assisted by Mahbubnagar and Narayanapet SPs while Sajjanar stayed away. Meanwhile a petition has been filed by the cops to move the dead bodies from Mahbubnagar government hospital to Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad.
Having taken note of all the details of the encounter, what will NHRC do is something everyone is looking for. They are likely to come up with a detailed report and will co-ordinate with ministry of Home Affairs.
