Talking about stardom, Megastar Chiranjeevi said, anyone can get huge success and can reach a top position, but retaining that position is a big task and it looks like Young Rebal Star Prabhas is going through a similar phase. Things are not going well for the star.
One of the big stars in Telugu, Prabhas emerged as the biggest Pan-India star with Bahubali. The northern belt fell in love with him. He also has the credit of acting in the first Pan-India film, which is the trend now.
However, he could not repeat the success after the Bahubali franchise. His two films after the franchise ended up as big duds. Compared to Radhe Shyam, Sahoo managed to get decent talk and collections in the northern belt.
Radhe Shyam, which had a flop show in theatres continued the same on the small screen as well. The film did not get encouraging ratings as the data shows, Radhe Shyam received only 8.25 TRP, which is very less for the first premiere that too for a big film.
Keeping the TRP ratings aside, a new doubt on whether TRP determines the stardom of the star has started among the fans. The world is not over and he is coming with Pan-India films and if one film gets hit then his stardom increases further.
Prabhas is working simultaneously on multiple projects. He is working on Salaar helmed by Prashanth Neel, Adipurush, and Project K directed by Om Raut and Nag Ashwin respectively. All the films are Pan-India projects.
