Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy is learnt to have offered to support to Telugu Desam Party leaders on revoking their suspensions in an hour if they keep quiet in the House instead of creating ruckus. According to sources, TD deputy floor leader Revanth Reddy sought Jana Reddy’s help and the latter offered to come to their rescue provided they stop using the pitch just for mudslinging activity.

It is learnt that Jana Reddy promised to get their suspensions lifted immediately if the TD leaders maintain decency in the House. He even asked them to pace down as the Congress leaders are also raking up the issues rather in a smooth manner. Being the main Opposition party, the Congress is aware of its role to be played in the House, Jana Reddy reportedly told Revanth Reddy.

However, the TD leader argued that the Opposition is ought to be vocal and will take on the government on various issues. “If the TD failed to budge, then I cannot do anything”, Jana told Reavanth. Later, the Leader of the Opposition raised the issue in the Assembly by stating that AP Assembly barred the Opposition leaders only for three days for creating ruckus of high intensity.

But the TRS government suspended the TD members for the entire session for creating uproar in the House with low intensity, he remarked. Jana Reddy urged the Speaker to take an initiative to lift the ban on the TD members as it is not good to continue the House without them.
