Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor created quite a controversy when a television reality show contestant ‘Vikas Pathak’ aka Hindustani Bhau condemned her show that brings dishonour to the country. He registered a FIR against Ekta and Shobha Kapoor on June 1 for humiliating the Indian Army and endeavoring to stigmatize fighters.

In the deleted scene, the story portrays an army officer’s wife allegedly disparages his uniform by making her boyfriend wear it in his absence, but later strips the uniform recklessly and romances with her lover on bed. This scene drew flak on social media, where many disapproved, as it was an insult to the Indian Army and abused Kapoor of being an “anti-national”.
