“Even my parents lost their lands and left homeless in our struggling days. No other family would have suffered like our family did. We know the plight and sorrows of the landless people.” These were the comments made by Telangana’s Minister of IT KTR in Karimnagar yesterday.
KTR said that while his father KCR lost his lands in Nizamabad’s Posanipalle village, his mother lost her lands in her native Kodurupaka village and that they later migrated to Chinthamadaka in Medak district and bought lands with the compensation money granted by the then government.
KTR assured the affected families which are losing their lands in the Mallannasagar, Kaleswaram and Ethipothala projects that the government will do complete justice by compensating with a handsome package.KTR then accused the TDP and Congress leaders who are targeting the KCR government over the projects and said that even though these projects are affecting thousands families now, they will benefit lakhs of families in the future.
