Everything Rests On Ravi Teja’s Shoulders Now!

The entire July has been quite disappointing. None of the notable films failed to succeed at the box office. Gopichand’s ‘Pakka Commercial’ disappointed the audience and the buyers had a nightmare due to ‘Happy Birthday’ which came out next week. Kiran Abbavaram disappointed once again with ‘Sammathame’ while Ram Pothineni tasted one of his biggest disasters in the form of ‘The Warrior’. This bilingual disappointed everyone in Telugu as well as Tamil. Many hoped Naga Chaitanya to put an end to this with ‘Thank You’ but the movie shocked everyone. It failed to gross 3 crores on the first day which explains how bad the situation is.

The heavy rainfall in Hyderabad is also playing a key role in affecting the theatrical business. The whole Nizam area is having problems with heavy rains and people are not that enthusiastic to go to the theatres now. Weather reports say that the rains are going to continue for another three days. We need to wait and see how the last weekend of July turns out to be for Tollywood.

Ravi Teja’s film ‘Ramarao On Duty’ is releasing on 29th July and many are hoping that his craze and stardom are going to bring the audience back to theatres. The trailer and songs which came out till date were impressive. It is a complete action entertainer which seems to have a strong story. Ravi Teja seems to be pretty confident on the film too as he took a small break from shootings and is giving interviews for promotions. Let us see if Ravi Teja brings the smile back on the distributors’ faces or not.

Ravi Teja will be seen as a Deputy Collector Mandal Revenue Officer in his 68th film. Venu Thottempudi is making a comeback to Tollywood with this flick. Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Koushil are the female leads in this project while Nasser, Sr Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, ‘Sarpatta’ John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, Surekha Vani and others play key roles.

Sam CS composed the music for this film while Sathyan Sooryan is the director of photography. Praveen KL is the editor and this story is written from true incidents. There are good expectations on this movie and fans are hoping that Ravi Teja would make a comeback after a dud like ‘Khiladi’.
