Director SS Rajamouli is finally done with the release of his film RRR, which features NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The film has been in the making for more than 3 years and has been one of the most highly anticipated films in the Indian Film Industry ever since its launch. The film has opened to overwhelmingly positive reviews everywhere and is setting the box office on fire.
On the other hand, while Rajamouli continues to promote the film right now, he is expected to take a break very soon. As soon as he is done with the break, the director is expected to shift his focus towards Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film completely.
The pre-production for this film is expected to begin in the second half of this year, and now sources are suggesting that the film will begin shooting in January 2023.
Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad, has already confirmed that the story is an African forest backdrop-based action-adventure, the first of its kind in Indian Cinema.
Considering that fac,t it is being expected that the film would at least take a year to shoot.
Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess, considering Rajamouli’s penchant for perfection. Meanwhile, Mahesh is currently busy with director Parasuram’s Sarakaru Vaari Paata, and will then begin shooting for director Trivikram’s film.
