Heroines scarcity is hitting Telugu film industry very badly. Star heroes are often looking around different parts of the country to get new faces for the films. NTR is in the hunt for a long time for his next film directed by Sukumar. Rakul Preet Singh is the main heroine in this project.
There is another heroine role in the project. And Sukumar is keen to bring in a Bollywood beauty in for this role. They have approched Bipasha Basu and Nargis Fakri for this role but both of them rejected the offer.
They then approached Huma Qureshi who made her debut recently with Badlapur but she also refused as she is not interested in second heroine roles. It is said that after the three ladies rejected NTR, the search is still on. And they are considering Rashi Khanna for the role in case nothing materializes.
It is said that as in Temper, NTR’s character in this film will also have a negative shade. NTR was initially apprehensive about playing negative roles but the confidence given by Temper success and its reception by audience made him attempt such role once again.
The film will be extensively shot in abroad. Sukumar is very anxious about this film. His last outing, 1-Nenokkadine is a miserable failure at the box office and he wants to make amends for the failure and be back in winning ways with this film. Jagapathi Babu will be seen in a crucial role in this film.
Attarintiki Daredi fame BVSN Prasad is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner. Reliance Entertainments is the co-producer. Devi Sri Prasad, the usual music composer for all Sukumar films will be composing music for this film too.
