Failed Cricketer Turned Deputy CM

At 26 he probably is the youngest deputy chief minister in the country. Putting aside the first borns in the family, youngest of the 9 had been chosen the crown prince of a political king pin. He is Tejaswi Yadav son of Laloo Prasad Yadav, the Chankya of Bihar Politics. It was much easier for Tejaswi to take after his father’s charisma and legacy but he had a bad luck at his favorite game.

Tewjaswi is a first class cricketer that couldn’t make it big.  He infact was a  player in the Delhi Dare devils for four seasons. He has been there on the list for one First class game and two A list matches and 4 T20’s.His top score being 19 and 1 wicket for 10 had been his record so far.

But he never played mainstream. He was proficient at throwing a spin Ball, bowling seam up. He used to bat lower down the order though. Now it’s up to him to either still run after his dream or settle down with what came his way.

Dropped out of formal education at class 9 from Delhi public school he as player had all the potent looks of Dhoni, long hair, trimmed beard and the mannerisms for it. Laloo sometimes joked that being on Dare Devils team he would atleast be there to supply water to the players. On the other hand Bihar has not played Ranji in the last 14 years so lets see what changes would the cricketer turned deputy CM bring to Bihar Cricket.
