Farm Bills Row: Supreme Court Has Some suggestions For Centre!

The top court of India Supreme Court heard a petition in connection with the farmer agitation against the controversial agricultural bills gave some suggestions to the centre.

The court suggested the Centre think about keeping the farm bills on hold for now and serve notices to the farmer organisations in the meantime.

To these suggestions, the Central government said, it is not possible to serve notices, as notices have to be served, then all the representatives of the farmers should be served.

The Constitution bench led by Chief Justice of India(CJI) SA Bobde which heard the petition said, the vacation bench can hear the petitions as the Supreme Court will be on summer vacation.

Hearing the petition, the bench said, they are thinking to set up an independent panel of agriculture experts and farmer unison so that the issues related to the farm bills can be resolved.

Its been nearly four weeks, the protests are being carried out by the farmers against the controversial farm bills passed by the Union government earlier in November, this year.
