Film maker Anubhav Sinha calling it quits from Bollywood!

Recently Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha revealed on twitter that he would stop making films. The film maker has even changed his twitter handle name to ‘Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood)’.

Anubhav Sinha, who is well acclaimed for his films like ‘Mulk’, ‘Thappad’, ‘Article-15’ etc is known for his outright bold attitude about anything.

In few other tweets he is also found supporting his colleague Anurag Kashyap, who recently slammed Kangana Ranaut in a series of tweets. Anubhav replied to one of his posts by saying ‘A big hug to you’. Although he hasn’t stated the actual reason behind the name change, Interestingly it can also be seen that Anubhav directed ‘Thappad’. The film stars ‘Thapsi’, who recently hit back at Kangana for calling her a ‘needy outsider’, which concomitantly didn’t go well with Sinha too.

Owing to the ongoing chaos in B-town, Sinha tweeted in emotional rage by calling it quits. The tweet read: “ENOUGH, I hereby resign from Bollywood. Whatever the f*** that means”.

To which directors Sudhir Mishra and Hansal Mehta replied in a wise way. Sudhir Mishra too shared ‘Quit Bollywood’ in prior to Anubhav’s tweet, while Hansal Mehta asserted that there’s nothing called Bollywood and it never existed. The trio were comfortably in consensus with their opinions and decided to focus more on Indian story telling and film making in their interactions. Reacting to the news about his retirement, Anubhav Sinha said he would of course do more films and would be revealing in the near future.
