Ever since actor Rana, arguably, made a remarkable debut with Shekar Kammula’s ‘Leader’, he has been inundated with numerous political genres in Telugu. But, he chose to pick offbeat roles which include B.Tech Babu in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Bhallala Deva in Baahubali among many.
For his next under the direction of Teja, titled Nene Raju Nene Manthri, the photo of the actor dressed up in Khadi attire makes him look like a fierce politico. And it is something which can be seen as a contrary to 2010’s Leader. Rana himself shared the this picture tweeting, “Day 1 of shoot in 2017 started yesterday in Ananthapur!! Thank you for the love!!”
Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa, NRNM is being rolled out by Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions.
Apart from Nene Raju Nene Manthri, Rana has a good line up of films due in 2017- Baahubali: The Conclusion, Ghazi and Madai Thiranthu (Tamil).
