Andhra Pradesh police have arrested Ponguru Narayana, a former TDP minister and head of Narayana Educational Institutions in connection to the leakage of Class X question papers in Andhra Pradesh.
As per reports, CID police, who went to Narayana’s residence in Kondapur, Hyderabad, have taken him into custody and are investigating.
The Class X public examinations were being held from April 27 for the first time after two years as in the previous two years the examinations were not conducted owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, a series of Class X question papers were leaked in the state. A few days ago, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy commented that Narayana and Sri Chaitanya educational institutions were behind the affair. In this context, the AP CID police came to Hyderabad and arrested Narayana.
