Sourav Ganguly became the president of Board Control for Cricket in India, BCCI an year ago and he talked about sudden ODI captaincy change decision. His comments about him requesting Virat Kohli to not give up on T20 captaincy made him look like a person with major concern about Indian cricket. He is a great servant of sport, no doubt about it.
But then Kohli clarified at press event before South Africa tour that he did not receive any communication to reconsider his decision from board members.He also stated that selectors did not discuss with him at length about ODI captaincy change. He said that he doesn’t consider the change as a big issue and he is ready to play for the country at any capacity.

Even Ganguly at a private event interaction said that he won’t comment on Virat Kohli’s remarks. He said that BCCI officials will take care of things.
The famous cricketer known for his Dada attitude on and off field said that he loves Virat Kohli’s attitude the most. He did praise Kohli but did not look comfortable talking about him.
