Looks like the AP government will still take some more time to come out of the troubles surrounding it. While the cash for vote scandal and the phone tapping row are creating a huge war between the AP and Telangana governments, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) joined the tug and slapped the AP Secretariat with notices to urgently pay the debts.
Ever since the state division, Hyderabad has been serving as the joint capital and several offices are being used by the AP and the T-governments to carry out the administration and debts to the tune of several crores are pending in the form of taxes and the GHMC officials are determined to collect the defaulted amount from the AP authorities.
Meanwhile, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is on an official tour to the Godavari districts and he will be staying in Vijayawada tonight. Even though the CM’s camp office has been set up in Viajyawada, arrangements for his stay have not been done yet and Babu has reportedly said to be sleeping in a caravan tonight.
From now onwards, Babu will also be spending 3 days a week in Vijayawada to oversee the administrative related works and his staff has found him a temporary residence in Lingamaneni Guest House.
