Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered with first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

Governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan, who is also serving as the 25th and current Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry received her first dose of anti-Covid vaccine on Friday.

She was administered the vaccine at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Women and Children’s Hospital, Puducherry. Earlier today, the Governor has kickstarted the vaccination drive for women.

Taking to Twitter, Tamilisai Soundararajan said she was vaccinated with the vaccine and urged all the l eligible citizens above 45 yrs to join her to take the vaccines, for Corona Free nation.

“I got vaccinated in RG govt hospital puducherry alongside others enrolled in Women’s Vaccination center inaugurated today for women exclusively on all days including holidays #vaccinationdrive. Join me to vaccinate all eligible citizens above 45 yrs soon for #Corona free Nation,” she tweeted on Friday.

Besides this, governor Tamilisai Soundararajan had also headed a COVID-19 review meeting at Raj Niwas, along with senior officers, and representatives from various medical colleges. They discussed how Puducherry could tackle the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The other day, Tamilisai Soundararajan chaired a crucial Covid-19 meeting at Raj Niwas. Several key officials from various departments and members of the various medical colleges were present at the meeting.
