Telangana CM KCR recently launched his prestigious project Haritha Haaram in a grand manner. KCR plans to turn entire Telangana state into greenery planting various seeds.
However it is coming out that Haritha Haaram is turning into Failure Haaram even before the program garner momentum. Agriculture experts expressed concerns over the quality of seeds used in the project.
It is coming out that Scientists and project officials alreaded warned that seedlings used are premature and thus many are unable to withstand the extreme climatic conditions. They say this is the reason why seedlings did not grow into saplings as they perished in heat and rains.
In charges of Haritha Haaram program say they are getting ready to reexamine the problem and come with more scientific approach. In the meantime Telangana government said it intends to plant nearly 160crs saplings in the coming four years.
