The film industry is prepping up for the new normal with Unlock 1 as the Telangana government has given permissions for film and TV shootings. However, the entertainment industry was on a standstill ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit India. Theatres have been shut and shoots have been stalled since March 13, 2020.
If the latest reports are to be believed, the tough taskmaster SS Rajamouli is making plans to resume the shoot of the magnum opus RRR. But before planning a full-length schedule, Jakkana will do a test shoot for two days implementing all the new guidelines the Telangana government issued to check whether they can face any problems on the sets.
RRR trial shoot may begin from Monday at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad which would involve shooting with almost 50 people, without the lead actors. It is also learned that only technicians would be participating in the test drill that is all set to happen in 2 days.
It is heard that the makers are planning to use PPE kits, thermometers, hand sanitizers, and physical distancing maintenance rules on the sets. It looks like SS Rajamouli will decide whether or not to resume the schedule after conducting the test.
RRR is being produced by D.V.V Danayya on the DVV Entertainment banner and will be released in 10 languages. The magnum opus stars a stellar ensemble cast of Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt. The film also has international stars Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.
