In the recently released adult crime comedy Guntur Talkies, the sizzling romance between Jabardasth Rashmi and young hero Siddhu became the talk of the town. Rashmi’s sensuous exposure and the young couple’s steamy lip locks made the film fare well at the box-office.
In his latest interview, Siddhu revealed that he is a shy person and was obviously in second thoughts about performing in the lip lock and intimate scenes. In fact, director Praveen Sattaru even thought of scrapping the steamy scenes, noticing Siddhu’s discomfort.
But Siddhu, knowing the importance of those scenes, determined to do them and discussed about the kissing scenes with his mother. His mother suggested him to be professional and to go ahead and complete the scenes if he thought they are necessary.
Siddhu then went out with Rashmi on movie and dinner dates to develop chemistry and ward off his discomfort, before shooting for the scenes. The final result was there for all of us to see.
