High Court Shoots Ten Questions At Trs Sarkar Over Covid-19 Measures

The petition pertaining to the Covid-19 measures taken by the government reached the Telangana High Court one more time on Friday. Hearing the petition, the High Court expressed its dissatisfaction yet again.

Lambasting the state government over the measures on containing the virus, the High Court has posed ten questions to the government and directed the government to submit a report on the questions asked.

The High Court started the series of questioning by asking how and where the fresh Covid-19 infections have reduced after the night curfew was imposed in the state?

2) What measures were taken by the government at the Pubs, Clubs, Bars, and restaurants across the state in the daytime? 3) Few states made quarantine mandatory for individuals, who took part in Kumbh Mela. Did the state government take such actions? 4) What measures did the state government take at the border areas of Maharashtra and Karnataka, where record cases are being reported. What are the measures taken on the inter-state passengers 5) Why is the government failing to produce the RT PCR test results in 24 hours? 6) When the manufacturing of Remdesivir is taking place in the state, why is there a shortage of supply? 7) What measures did the state government take on the migrant workers? 8) How come the state reported oxygen shortage supply in the span of three days? 9) How the state government is going forwards with the cremation of Covid-19 dead bodies 10) Why there are no details on the Covid-19 casualties, recoveries, and infections on the government’s health portal?

Shooting the questions at the state government, the High Court directed the government to submit a comprehensive report on the questions asked.

This is not the first time, the High Court lambasted the Telangana government over the Covid-19 situation in the state. In several instances, the Court slammed the TRS government.
