Even before her debut Hollywood film ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ hits screens, Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone has become the first and only Indian actress to feature in the top 10 highest-paid Hollywood actresses’ list published by Forbes.
Deepika Padukone is ranked 10th in the list with total earnings of USD 10 million in 2016. The Bangalore-bred actress has starred in several films that have crossed the Rs 100 crore at Indian box office. Although Deepika earns far less than her Hollywood counterparts through movies, she earns a big chunk with over a dozen lucrative brand endorsements. She is currently the Highest-Paid Indian Actress.
According to Forbes, Jennifer Lawrence is the world’s highest-paid actress for the second year in a row with earnings of $46 million. She was followed by Melissa McCarthy with $33 million and Scarlett Johansson with $25 million earnings.
