Before gaining iconic status, most of the young heroes who entered into the industry without any filmy background acted in small roles and hardly known to the people. Once they get the stardom, they start giving inspiration to many strugglers in the industry. But habituating to stardom and handling stardom are two different things that need huge attention.
We all know that Vijay Devarakonda was seen in small roles in many films like Life is Beautiful and others, but he stole the limelight with Pelli Choopulu. And Arjun Reddy made him an overnight superstar with fans calling him Arjun Reddy rather his original name. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he is no longer feel like the Vijay in last year. “Sudden stardom definitely affects anyone and when people start screaming your name everywhere, it’s hard to manage it. At that time I don’t feel that is me. I don’t understand why people scream it”.
Did he just say, he is feeling it tough to handle stardom? Or did he just expressed that his stardom is so big? Many think that Vijay is little exaggerating about the stardom and he needs to score consolidated 20+ crores hits in a row to come into the slot of a Nani and such range heroes. But his fans say, he’s a superstar on the way.
While Vijay is awaiting Rahul Sankrityan’s Taxiwala release now, he’s currently in Thailand practicing shooting at the Krabi Gun Range in the island nation.
